Avant launches more powerful compact wheel loaders

According to Avant Tecno, its new compact articulated wheel loaders are among the most powerful in their class.

The new 44 hp Kubota engines power the 645i and 650i loaders, up 18 hp from the earlier 600 series machines like the 630 and 635.
It provides 203 pound-feet of pulling force and 87 pound-feet of torque to the new loaders.
It weighs around 3,600 pounds, according to the company, making it easy to transport and ride on sensitive terrain.
It has 23.6-inch telescopic lifting booms that can reach 9.3 feet to the attachment coupling plate’s hinge pin. A low centre of gravity and a rigid articulation joint enable a tipping load of 2,624 pounds.

When lifted and lowered, the hydraulic boom levels itself to keep the load horizontal. The loader’s articulated steering allows it to turn without leaving tyre marks. Each wheel is equipped with a hydraulic drive motor.

The 645i has a single speed and can go up to 8 mph, whereas the 650i has two speeds and can go up to 15.5 mph. It has a 19.8 gallon per minute auxiliary hydraulic oil flow.
The open ROPS/FOPS cabs are standard on the loaders. Customers can choose between the L-Cab, which provides wind and rain protection, and the new GT cab, which includes heating, sound and vibration absorption, a windscreen washer and wiper, a cab air filter, and front and rear mudguards.

The machines, according to the company, give the operator unrestricted views of the attachment and work area.
The diesel oxidation catalyst and particulate filter on the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine meet Tier-4 Final standards, according to the company.

Attachment plates with hydraulic quick locking pins are included with the loaders. The hydraulic hoses are connected to the multi-connector on the loaders.
