Ashoka Buildcon Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a significant Central Railway project valued at ₹568.86 crore (excluding GST). The contract involves gauge conversion work along a 53.3-kilometer stretch between Pachora and Jamner in Maharashtra. The project’s scope encompasses earthwork.

Construction of major and minor bridges, road under bridges (RUBs), permanent way (P-Way) work, and various other civil works. Notably, the Pachora Yard and road over bridges are excluded from this contract. The project is structured as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract, with an execution timeline of 30 months.

This award marks Ashoka Buildcon’s second major contract win in just over a month. In March 2025, the company secured a ₹311.92 crore project from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd (MSETCL) for establishing a 400/220 KV substation at Nandgaon Peth in Amravati, along with associated.

Following the announcement, Ashoka Buildcon’s share price experienced a positive transportation and transmission lines movement. As of April 15, 2025, the stock was trading at ₹193.57, reflecting a 3.80% increase. Despite a 25.74% decline over the past six months, the stock has shown a 10.43% compared same period last year.
