Arun Nanda’s departure from the board of directors and as the company’s longtime chairman has been announced by Mahindra Lifespace. Ameet Hariani, who has served as the Board’s Independent Director since 2017, will succeed him.

Arun Nanda joined the Mahindra Group in 1973, and over the years, he has held a number of significant positions there. In order to concentrate on the social sector and develop a supportive environment for elderly persons, he resigned as Executive Director of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) in March 2010 after being introduced to the Board in August 1992. From April 2010 to August 2014, he continued to serve as a non-executive director of M&M.

Arun Nanda held the positions of Chairman of the CII Western Region Council, Director of the National Skill Development Corporation, and Chairman of the CII National Committee on Skill Development & Livelihood. Additionally, Arun Nanda serves as the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman Emeritus. He has received numerous lifetime achievement honours from various business organisations and media.
