Ambuja Cements to Invest ₹1,600 Cr in Bihar Grinding Unit
The cement giant Adani Cement’s subsidiary Ambuja Cements plans to invest ₹1,600 crore in Bihar to build a cement grinding mill. The unit, which will be able to accommodate the state’s expanding infrastructure needs, will be situated in Mosama village, Warisaliganj tehsil, Nawada district, and have an overall capacity of six MTPA.
The project, which has excellent rail and road connections, will be carried out in three stages. It is intended to commission the first phase by December 2025, requiring an expenditure of ₹1,100 crore and a capacity of 2.4 MTPA. There is enough acreage available for future expansion, which should result in lower capital costs for later stages.
