Along with its airports, Adani has announced real estate developments

Apart from its aviation and non-aeronautical (terminal) operations, Adani Group has chosen to build real estate projects alongside its airports across the nation. On more than 500 acres, the Group will build about 70 million square feet as part of its portfolio of city side developments. The “aero cities” will have a variety of accommodations, convention centres, shops, places to get entertainment and medical treatment, commercial offices, and other related real estate sectors. Additionally, it is negotiating to build hotels under this plan with hotel chains like Marriott International, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and Hilton NSE 0.24 percent. Customers will be able to visit these “lifestyle places” both within and outside of the airport, according to the business.

By broadening the scope of the customer experience, it is putting more power in the hands of the customer and causing a rise in non-aeronautical revenues for both the airports and its partners, making it the industry’s preferred partner.
