Action Construction Equipment (ACE) has launched India’s largest mobile crane and tower crane, India’s first self-propelled aerial work platforms, and India’s first fully electric mobile crane. The company also showcased its 35-ton 4X4 Pick and Carry Crane with innovative boom design and a range of Telehandlers. The launch was attended by the Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, Sri Nitin Gadkari, who addressed emerging needs and technology requirements in reducing carbon footprint across industries.
The ACE F150-ev 4X4 is a zero-emission machine with a lifting capacity of 15 tons, delivering optimum power and productivity while maintaining versatility for Indian conditions. The crane is designed for road travel and pick-n-carry use, with 4-wheel drive and required traction. The company also introduced India’s largest indigenously designed crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 180 tons, equipped with anti-toppling features for enhanced safety on site.
ACE is expanding its manufacturing capacities, particularly in the bigger crane segment, and is expected to operationalize a new facility in Faridabad in the first quarter of next year. The construction equipment industry in India is expected to scale the pre-pandemic peak due to robust demand spurred by increased government spending on infrastructure projects and manufacturing sector capex.
