In Danapur, Bihar, Ashoka Buildcon has been awarded a contract for the building and enhancement of the Danapur-Bihta segment of highway. The project will cost $2,161 crore and entail turning the two lanes that are already there into four lanes.

The project will include at-grade improvements from Design Ch: 0+000 to Design Ch: 19+870, connectivity to the current Road Over Bridge (RoB) near Danapur station (0.230 km), 1.35 Km ramps, and upgrading the existing carriageway along the 25.081-kilometer Bihta-Koilwar section from Design Ch: 19+870 to Design Ch: 23+500. According to the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model, the company will carry out the project.

This project will promote communication and transportation in the area and is a component of the effort to strengthen the state of Bihar’s road infrastructure. It is anticipated that this infrastructure improvement will help the local economy grow and give residents greater transit options.
