To build standard gauge rails for the subterranean, elevated, and Subhash Nagar Depot of Bhopal Metro Phase 1, Larsen & Toubro was chosen as the lowest bidder. In this regard, the European Investment Bank (EIB) had funded the contract (Package BH-07) when Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (MPMRCL) published a bidding for it in February of this year. L&T provided a bid value of 238.52 crore for the work to be finished in 1274 days. The design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of ballastless standard gauge track as well as the supply of fastening systems were all included in the contract’s scope of work.
