The Mogharpada neighbourhood of the metropolitan city will be home to the building of Metro Lines 4 and 4A, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued a request for bids. Construction of the depot and related infrastructure, such as the stable yard, operational control centre, administrative building, maintenance and workshop facilities, and auxiliary substation, is part of the project, which will cost Rs. 711.34 crore. The work also entails the design and construction of ETP and STP over the course of 36 months, as well as the construction of staff quarters, architectural finishing, and plumbing earthworks for land development, compound walls, approach roads, bridges connecting to depots, underground utility ducts, drainage systems, and underground utility ducts.
