The Ernakulam district in Kerala would receive a 50-acre sports city at a cost of 2,000 crores when construction is completed in stages. The project, which will be built on land between National Highway-544 and the Seaport-Airport Road, will be privately owned and feature a variety of facilities, including outdoor and indoor courts, health and fitness centres, and a high-altitude training facility. In addition, it will contain amenities including a spa, clubhouse, and a support compound. According to the plan, the sports city will contain a roller skating rink and an artificial football field. The sports city will eventually have 10 top-notch badminton courts, a basketball court, as well as tables for table tennis, billiards, and snooker.
