For the purpose of enhancing the road system and reducing traffic at the Peeragarhi junction and its surrounding areas, the Delhi government has planned to construct an integrated transit corridor. Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister and minister of public works, said the junction connects west Delhi areas with Haryana, for which the Delhi government will implement a number of measures, including building a new flyover, an underground U-turn, two foot-over-bridges, widening an existing overbridge, and slip roads. He also said the new project will be finished in 1.5 years and will benefit a large number of drivers and commuters from Delhi and Haryana by reducing travel time during peak hour
In actuality, the project will begin from Jwala Heri Market — Chaudhary Balbir Singh traffic light to Jwalapuri traffic light on NH 10 or Rohtak Road and is intended to relieve congestion at the Peeragarhi junction. The project includes widening ROB (road over bridge) toward Mangolpuri alongside Ring Road, building a new flyover on Laxmi Narayan Mandir Road, and installing a right-turn underpass on Chaudhary Balbir Singh Mar. Near Peeragarhi Chowk, two foot-over-bridges will also be built on either side of Rohtak Road to help with easy and secure pedestrian movement.
