Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the cornerstone for numerous development projects and opened up ventures costing more than $16,800 crore.
He opened the $400 million Deoghar airport while Bokaro and Dumka airport construction is still ongoing. The Deoghar airport’s Terminal Building is designed to accommodate more than 5,000 passengers each year.
He dedicated and laid the cornerstone for projects worth 10,000 crores in the road sector. Among the projects are the six-laning of the NH-2 stretch from Gorhar to Barwada and the widening of the NH-32 portion from Rajganj to Chas up to the West Bengal border. Other significant projects include the four-laning of the NH-80 section between Mirzachowki and Farakka, the NH-98 portion between Hariharganj and Parwa More, the NH-23 part between Palma and Gumla, and the NH-75 section between Kutchery Chowk and Piska More.
He announced $3 billion worth of energy infrastructure projects, like as the Bokaro-Angul segment of GAIL’s Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra pipeline, the HPCL New LPG Bottling Plant at Barhi, Hazaribagh, and the BPCL Bokaro LPG Bottling Plant. The Parbatpur Gas Collecting Station, Jharia Block, and ONGC’s CBM Asset all received foundation stones.
The Godda-Hansdiha Electrified Section and the Garhwa-Mahuria Doubling Project were two railway projects he launched. These initiatives will aid in promoting efficient goods traffic flow for industries and power plants. They would also guarantee that trains from Dumka to Asansol can move easily.
The Jasidih Bypass Line, the LHB Coach Maintenance Depot, and the renovation of Ranchi Railway Station are the three railway projects for which the foundation stone has been set. For the convenience and pleasure of the passengers, the proposed renovated Ranchi Station will feature top-notch passenger amenities including a food court, executive lounge, cafeteria, air-conditioned waiting halls, etc.
