Tata Projects Ltd was chosen by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) to construct the Noida International Airport (NIA). NIA’s engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) will be handled by Tata Projects.

According to the developer, the new airport should be operational by 2024.
With the completion of the EPC contract, the first phase of the airport is expected to be completed within three years of the concession period beginning, according to YIAPL.

According to him, the company is working with Tata Projects to build a passenger terminal, runway, and other airport infrastructure with a capacity of 12 million passengers per year by 2024.

According to the statement, Tata Projects’ other major projects include the New Parliament Building, Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link, and metro rail lines in various cities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Jewar in November 2021. In phase I, the airport will be spread out over 1,334 hectares and will have a single runway capable of handling twelve million passengers per year. By 2024, the airport is expected to be operational.
Zurich Airport and the Uttar Pradesh government are working together on the project as a public-private partnership. Zurich Airport is investing Rs 5,700 crore in phase I of the project and has borrowed Rs 3,725 crore from the State Bank of India.
Short and efficient passenger flows, digital services, and a commitment to minimal environmental impact will all be features of the passenger terminal. Families, the elderly, and business travellers will benefit from NIA’s digital airport, which will enable contactless travel and personalised services.
