BRO-GRSE to build 27 double lane modular bridges

Border Roads Organisation (BRO) and warship building firm Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) have inked MoU for construction of 27 carriageway double lane galvanized modular bridges of 7.5 meters. The two-year contract will include fabrication, supply, erection, and launching of these modular bridges.

BRO’s Indigenous Double Lane Modular Bridge is in line with the clarion call of the Prime Minister for self-reliance in the defence sector. The state-of-art indigenous bridge was dedicated to the nation by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in December last year.
