Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scheme, applicants must:
- Be Indian citizens.
- Own a legal residential property with sufficient rooftop space for solar panel installation.
- Have a valid electricity connection.
- Not have previously availed any other solar panel subsidy from the government.

- 20 lakh installations by October 2025.
- 40 lakh installations by March 2026.
- Achieving the target of 1 crore installations by March 2027.
Registration Process
- Filling out the application form on the portal.

- Disbursement of the subsidy directly into the applicant’s bank account within 15 days.
