The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has tendered for the construction of the four-lane Chillakuru Cross road to Turpu Kanupur in Andhra Pradesh.
The scope of work included the construction of a four-lane road from 0.000 km (131.500 km for NH-16) to 23.770 km from Chillakuru Cross Road to Turpu Kanupur (Part 1) on the new NH-516W, including a six-lane overpass and NH-16 ( Length – 1.050 v) and six lanes from Turpu Kanupuru to the south gate of the port (part 2 of the second package) from 23.770 km to 35.015 km, using the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I on the new NH-516W in Andhra Pradesh HAM mode.
