DMRC unveils Green Line extension under Phase IV

The Delhi Metro Green Line currently ends at Inderlok Station. As part of the fourth phase of the development project, it will extend to Indraprastha Station, providing direct access to central, new, old, west and east Delhi. Places such as LNJP Hospital, Indira Gandhi Hospital, IG Stadium, Old Delhi landmarks and Chandni Chowk will also be connected by the 12 km Inderlok-Indraprastha corridor.

People in Haryana and Outer Delhi will also be able to commute more efficiently. The Green Line currently has transfer stations at Inderlok on the Red Line and Kirti Nagar on the Blue Line. Due to the extension, there will also be transfer facilities on the Magenta Line of Nabi Karim, Delhi Gate and Indraprastha on the Blue Line.

It will also be connected to the Pink Line. Exchange because the Delhi Metro Corporation (DMRC) is building a stop to connect the Green Line Punjab Bagh Station and the Pink Line Punjab Bagh Station, which will be open to the public next year. Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh (Marg) is connected to Kirti Nagar and Inderlok by a 29.64 km green line.

Compared with other corridors, this corridor has lower passenger flow. Due to the expansion, residents of Haryana bordering the national capital and the outer Delhi neighbourhoods Tikri, Savda Ghevra and Mundka will have seamless access to Dwarka, Raj Nagar Extension, Vaishali and Noida.

Not only that, even people living in urban and rural areas can go directly to hospitals, train stations and NCR areas. Inderlok, Daya Basti, Sarai Rohilla, Ajmal Khan Park, Nabi Karim, LNJP Hospital, Delhi Gate, Indira Gandhi Stadium and Indraprastha will make ten stops on the 12-kilometer green line extension.
