Maharashtra Approves ₹36,964 Cr for Cement Concrete Roads Construction

Under the direction of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the Maharashtra Cabinet has authorized spending ₹36,964 crore to build 6,000 kilometers of concrete roads. Under the Public Works Department, the newly established Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) will construct these roads under the updated Hybrid Annuity Model. The purpose of this large-scale infrastructure project is to improve road durability and connectivity throughout the state.
