Karnataka to Enhance Rural Connectivity with 18 New Roads & 2 Bridges
The 23.766 km of these projects indicate an anticipated ₹25.1796 crore investment.

Under the PM-JANMAN initiative, the Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned the building of 18 roads and 2 bridges in an effort to improve rural connectivity and accelerate economic growth in Karnataka. The 23.766 km of these projects indicate an anticipated ₹25.1796 crore investment.

The objective of this effort is to bridge the gap between remote villages and urban centers and considerably improve the socio-economic situations of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) by facilitating improved connections in rural regions. The upgraded infrastructure will promote trade, commerce, and economic growth, in addition to improving access to markets, healthcare, and education. It is also anticipated to boost local economies and provide job opportunities, in line with the government’s goal of an advanced and prosperous India (Viksit Bharat).
