With an investment of ₹2,750 Cr, Haryana would upgrade 4,655 km of roads in FY25.

The Minister of Public Works (Building and Roads) of Haryana, Banwari Lal, has unveiled a plan to invest 2,750 crore for the fiscal year 2024–25 to improve the quality and condition of 1,425 roads totaling 4,655 kilometres.

At a cost of ₹600 crore, the project consists of 51 state highways spanning 680 kilometres, 43 major district roads spanning 725 kilometres, and 1,331 more district roads spanning 3,250 km, all at a cost of ₹1,650 crore. By September 2024, these enhancements are supposed to be finished. In addition, patchwork repairs were made to 3,400 kilometres of road between March 1, 2024, and June 30, 2024. The NABARD loan support programme will upgrade about 700 kilometres of village roads in 2024–2025.
